What is BHIM UPI?

BHIM full form (Bharat Interface for Money) is a new enterprise to enable faster, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. Bhim can work with other unified payment interfaces i.e. Unified Payment Interface UPI apps and bank accounts. BHIM UPI has been developed by Indian National Payment Corporation (NPCI).

Bhim Upi

Register your bank account with Bhim and set up a UPI Pin for the bank account. Your mobile number is your payment address i.e.(PA). You can also change your payment address. And just now you can start your own transaction. Yes! It is very simple. It does not require any debit card or credit card to pay.
Bhim App is currently available in Hindi and English and will soon be available in other Indian languages too.

Send/receive money

Through a mobile number or payment address, you can send money to friends, family, and customers and get money. You can send money using such IFSC codes and MMID to customers whose bank is not yet UPI supported. You can also send a request and fetch money from someone.

Check Remaining balance

You can also check the details of transactions made on your bank balance and Bhim app on Bhim App.

Payment by QR Code

You can pay payment immediately by scanning the payment QR code. Merchants or shopkeepers can print their QR codes and stick to the shop. The customer will scan the QR code on the shop and will be able to pay immediately. The maximum limit of transactions by Bhim App is ten thousand rupees at one time and twenty thousand rupees in twenty-four hours.

Mobile banking required

To use BHIM UPI, your account must be enabled for mobile banking. Your mobile number must be registered with your account in your bank. You will be able to use the Bhim App on the same mobile, which will be the SIM of the registered mobile number in your account.
